What it is
This is the same structural strut you already know, but left in its raw, mill-finish state and given only a light coating of protective oil.
No galvanizing, no powder-coat, just clean, weldable, paintable steel.
How it’s different
• Finish: A thin film of oil keeps rust at bay in transit and on the shelf, nothing more.
• Surface: Slightly oily to the touch, easily wiped clean with a rag and degreaser.
• Colour: Natural steel grey (hence “self colour”).
• Fabrication-friendly: No zinc or coating to grind off before welding or powder-coating.
• Storage: Must be stored indoors or protected from moisture; oil is temporary.
